The Department of Journalism in the School of Communication and the University Library have jointly established the HKBU Journalism Student Publication Archive (BUJSPA). The free online database, which can be accessed by members of the public, houses the works of journalism students in their publications The Young Reporter and San Po Yan from 1968 to mid-2017.
The BUJSPA, which contains nearly 700 issues and over 13,500 news articles and photos, is one of Hong Kong’s first digitised news archives. All collections are searchable by topic, name, keyword, language and publication year. Some of the updated award-winning reports are also shown on the homepage.
