Journalism graduates shine at Consumer Rights Reporting Awards

Broadcast Journalism 2017 graduates Chan Kar-wing and Ho Ching-ha won the Silver Award and Bronze Award respectively in the Campus Category of the Consumer Rights Reporting Awards with their work produced at the University.

Through the award-winning reports, both Chan Kar-wing and Ho Ching-ha explored how Key Opinion Leaders affect consumers’ buying decision.

Another six alumni, namely Cheung Wai-ming, Chan Hoi-man, Lao Xianliang, Zhao Yating, Wong Ho-yin and Lam Wing, also grabbed awards in different categories.

Jointly organised by the Consumer Council, Hong Kong Journalists Association and Hong Kong Press Photographers Association, the contest aims to recognise outstanding reporting on consumer rights.
