Four students from HKBU won the recent Young Business Talents competition in the Greater Bay Area with their innovative “Elderly Care Service Industry Proposal”.
The team – which included Media and Social Communication Year 3 students Cai Shuanglong, Zhang Yuzhi and Fung Chi-in from the School of Communication and Entrepreneurship Concentration Year 3 student Gao Jiaying from the School of Business – focused their study on the elderly in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Jiangmen and Zhaoqing. In particular, they presented a proposal for integrated elderly services in the Greater Bay Area, including medical and health care, insurance, and accommodation services.
The competition provided a great opportunity for the team to realise their potential and bolster their personal growth, while also enhancing their understanding of blockchain technology and the development of future elderly services in the Greater Bay Area. The team also hope this new knowledge will help them with their future careers.
